We really didn't have big plans for this weekend, just hanging out around home, getting a few things done!
Saturday was nice out - finally nice enough that the kids could actually wear shorts, so we took advantage of the weather and played outside :)
Sunday was supposed to be even nicer, so we decided to go to Pine Lake (about an hour and a half away) and try to go fishing for the day. It was the first time the kids have been in the boat since last summer, so we were anxious to see how they would do. We packed plenty of snacks, and the portable DVD player, and the kids did GREAT!!! We spent just over 3 hours on the water, and they were all very well behaved! We were very impressed, especially since we didn't catch any fish, so they didn't even have that bit of extra entertainment!

And then this is what we woke up to this morning!! SNOW! It never fails, we almost ALWAYS end up getting snow on the May long weekend. Kind of a disappointing end to an otherwise nice weekend!
