So yesterday, the doctor said that they would be transferring my sister to Foothills hospital, probably on Tuesday. They said that the ultrasound there is better, and they have a level 3 NICU, which my sister's baby will probably need.
Last night, at about 10:15pm, my sister called my mom, and said that they were transferring her right away, because the baby's heart rate had been dropping. Fifteen minutes later, she called back and said that they weren't transferring her, because there were no beds available. Then at around 12:30am, she called again, and said the yes, there were going to transfer her, because the baby's heart rate had been dropping again. So my mom came to the hospital, packed up all her things, and they transferred her by ambulance to Foothills.
When she got to Foothills, she was put in a crowded curtain area, in a tiny little bed - not quite as nice as the private room she had at PLC! They monitored the baby, and everything seemed to be fine! My mom stayed until about 4:45am, and then finally went home. She was exhausted from trying to sleep on a chair, and it didn't look like anything was going to be happening anytime soon. Later in the day, my mom went back up. They did an ultrasound, and the baby still has not grown. They said the NICU is full right now, but they will probably be delivering her within the next few days, since there really seems to be no reason to keep the baby in. Finally late this afternoon, they got my sister into a room. She was exhausted from being in the noisy curtain area all night and all day. She has to share a room with some lady who doesn't speak English, and had a million visitors. My mom left shortly after my sister got her room, so that hopefully my sister could get some rest.
So basically, it looks like she will be having the baby within a few days.

Good luck to your sister, I hope everything goes well.
Best of luck to your sister! I hope everything goes as well as it can and the baby doesn't have to stay in NICU for too long.
