Linen Closet

I did it! I got the linen closet cleaned out and organized!! This has been bugging me for some time now, as it was a jumbled mess! A few weeks ago, I measured and bought bins for all the stuff on the top shelf. It is all brand new stuff, wedding and shower gifts, so I wanted it in bins so that it is more organized and looks neater! I didn't have too much to do with the other shelves, there was a few things that needed to get cleared out, but not much! It might not look like much of a difference to anyone else, but it is a big accomplishment for me!

Back on track!

Well, just as I predicted, my period started this weekend :(
But since I knew it was going to happen, I made the most of it and had more than a few drinks Saturday night at the wedding! I had a GREAT time, and of course totally regretted it Sunday morning when I felt like crap! LOL! Gairod was awesome though, and totally looked after the kids and let me sleep and recuperate! I love him so much!
We are on to a new week, and a new cycle! Everyone is healthy again (finally!), the Halloween candy is gone, and it is time to get back on track!
I have started my healthy eating again, I will start exercising again, and it is time to start trying to get some stuff done around here! My first project is the linen closet. I have taken before pictures, and when I get it done I will take after pictures, and post them! It is still hard to try and do stuff around the house (cleaning, organizing) even when the kids are all healthy and happy, just because of the age they are at! But I will try my best :)

On to another month :(

Well, I broke down and tested yesterday afternoon, since I have a wedding to go to today, and if I am not pregnant, I would like to be able to drink! I am really not an alcoholic, if fact I hardly drink at all, mainly only at weddings, and it just happens that we have had two in the last two months!

Anyways, it was negative, and today my temp went down, so I am sure my period is on it's way.

I am finding it hard this month. I think partly because there have been a TON of positives on the Large Family board at BBC in the last few days, partly because we will now be onto cycle #7 of trying (half way to the amount of time it took to conceive the triplets), and partly because the Doctor basically said there is nothing wrong, so I don't understand why it is taking so long!?
I am just tired. Tired of trying, tired of feeling so not in control. I hate wanting something so badly, but feeling like I have NO control over when or even IF it will happen. When is it going to be my turn?

20 Months Old!!

The triplets turned 20 months old on Wednesday, November 5th! To me that just sounds SOOO old, so much closer to 2!
I took the babies (I guess I really should stop calling them babies soon!) in today to weigh and measure them.
Kadance is 20lbs 12ozs, on the 3rd percentile. She is actually down 3ozs from the last time I weighed her, two months ago, but I am sure it is just because she has been so sick and has hardly eaten in the last few days. She is 31 1/4 inches long, just below the 25th percentile!
Cole is 25lbs 1oz, just above the 25th percentile. He is 33 inches long, on the 50th percentile.
Hayden is 24lbs 13oz, on the 25th percentile. He is 32 1/4 inches long, on the 25th percentile.
I really can't believe how fast they are growing up. They are not my little babies anymore, they are walking, talking (kind of!) toddlers! It makes me sad to think how fast the last 20 months has gone by.

Flashback Friday!

I realized last weekend, that with the craziness of sick kids and Halloween, I totally forgot about Flashback Friday! So here is the picture I was planning on putting up last Friday! This is the kids last Halloween, as Goldilocks and the Three Bears!!

I Love this one, because all three of the babies blinked at exactly the same time, when I was trying to take a picture! Seriously, what are the chances of that happening?!

Test results.....

So I had a doctor appointment today to go over the results of my last ultrasound..........and my cyst is gone!! That is really good news! As far as my Doctor can tell, everything seems to be normal, so there is no reason why we can't get pregnant on our own.............so why the hell is it taking us so long?!?
We are supposed to keep trying for another 3 months on our own, and if nothing happens then I will go back in and we will look at trying Clomid.
I REALLY hope I can do it on my own, and in the next 3 months!! I just want another baby, so badly!

Okay, Seriously!!!

I am seriously tired of sick kids!!! Every thing seemed fine over the weekend, Saturday morning they all ate a good breakfast, and aside from Cole still being a little cranky the rest of them seemed fine!

Well, Monday morning, Cole had some puke in his crib, but I am pretty sure it was just from coughing and gaging.

Tuesday morning, as soon as I opened the door to their room, the stench hit me! Poor Hayden was COVERED in poop, as were all the blankets in his crib!! The poor boy had had a major blow-out diaper! He continued to have diarrhea the rest of the day, as did Kadance. We managed to avoid any more blowouts, because I was checking their diapers every half hour! lol! I could tell Kadance wasn't feeling herself, because she was being unusually clingy and whiny all day, totally not like her! Shortly before bed last night Jade started complaining of a headache, and saying she didn't feel well, but she seems fine today.

Then there is today. When I went into their room this morning, I could again smell poop........AND puke! Poor Kadance was covered in both! Into the bath tub she went, and then I fed everyone breakfast. Well, as much as anyone would eat, none of them have been eating much the last 2 weeks. Kadance kept squirming and crying in her high chair, so I got her cleaned off and out. I was about to get her shoes and jacket on to take Jade to school, and she threw up at the change table. Luckily I had a bucket right there, so it didn't end up everywhere!
Hayden has been having diarrhea all day, and so has Kadance. Poor Kadance is very limp and just wants to lay on my lap, but she is also twisting and squirming and crying, so I am sure her little tummy is hurting.

I am so tired of all this. I just want everyone to get better! I hate seeing my kids sick and not feeling well, and not being able to really do anything to help them!
I am kind of glad I am not pregnant right now. All the poop and puke I have had to clean up lately would not be good for a sensitive smell and gag reflex!

Week 4

Okay, I will start off by saying that this week was doomed from the start!! My kids were all sick ALL week, and Halloween was on Friday! I might as well just get to the point - I gained 2 pounds :( I pretty much figured that I would gain, like I said the kids have been sick, so I have been stress eating and not exercising, because I have been so tired. Then there was Halloween, how is a person supposed to pass up on all that candy?! I'm just too weak! I told myself I could eat all the candy I wanted on the weekend, and then today (Monday) I have to get back on track! Well it is 2:30 in the afternoon, and I have already had too much candy! I think we need to give it away or something, because seriously, when there is junk in the house, I am setting myself up for failure :(

Not much happening

Not much happening today, the kids all seem to be feeling MUCH better, Cole is still being a little crank though! I am feeling very behind and unmotivated again, after taking a week off from everything (eating healthy, exercising, cleaning, getting things done) due to the kids being sick. I am really hoping I can get back at it tomorrow!! I have been eating sooo much Halloween candy the last few days, it is disgusting! I am scared to see what my weight is tomorrow....
I really want to get back into organizing (I swear, it is a never-ending project!), and get things cleared out and simplified before the holidays! I was in Walmart today, and they were playing Christmas music! Can you believe it?! But it did get me thinking about the holidays, and how much I would like to get done before December!

It WAS a Happy Halloween :)

Well, despite everyone being sick, they all seemed to perk up enough to go 'trick-or-treating', and the weather was beautiful, so we decided to take them all out! The little ones were happy to sit in their stroller and watch Jade go from house to house, and Kadance and Hayden were even trying to yell "trick-or-treat" every time that Jade did! I am sure we will have lots of fun next year when they actually do it too!
