Possession day is finally here - I can't believe it!! LOL! Unfortunately, Gairod also has his 6 month CFD exam this afternoon too! Talk about crappy timing! We got our realtor to arrange with the other realtor, to let us do our walk through this morning. We won't "technically" get possession until this afternoon, but since Gairod will be in Calgary writing his exam, we wouldn't be able to do our walk-through. So in about an hour, we are heading out to our new house!!
Tomorrow the real work will begin. We have Gairod's cargo trailer loaded with garage stuff, and his utility trailer loaded with firewood. We plan on leaving this house at 8am tomorrow morning, taking both trailers out at once (we are borrowing Gairod's dad's truck), and unloading them. Then the kids and I will have to come back to Crossfield around 11:30am, drop off the utility trailer, and head into Airdrie for swimming lesson. Gairod will stay out at the new house for the afternoon, and hopefully get a fenced off area set up for our dog.
Gairod has to work days on Saturday and Sunday, so my mom is planning on coming out to the new house with me and the kids both those days, so we can get it all cleaned, and ready to start moving things into the house! :)
I am so excited for our new life to begin! :)
