May Long!

For the May long weekend, we decided to head up to my parents cabin at Waskesiu Lake, in SK. The weather wasn't the greatest, but it was a nice get-away, and the kids had a blast! Sage did great for her first time travelling (it's about a 9 hour trip), actually ALL of the kids did great! :)

There is something about the going to the Lake that is always so refreshing and rejuvenating. I am not sure exactly what it is, maybe it's the fresh lake air, or maybe it's all the time spent outside enjoying nature, or maybe it's just the break in routine. But I always come home refreshed, and in a new frame of mind, ready to make some changes!
